Position description

The Department of Psychology, University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in DEVELOPMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY. Area of specialization in developmental psychology is open, though we are especially interested in candidates that can contribute to our current strengths in culture, context, and biological/familial contributions to cognitive or social development. Applicants with research experience in development either at specific age periods or across the life span are welcome. The position begins July 1, 2014. A Ph.D. degree is required at the time of the appointment and applicants should have a significant record or promise of outstanding research. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Applicants should be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education. Review of completed applications will begin December 5, 2013 and will continue until the position is filled.
