Positions: In-Residence and Adjunct Professor Series – Open Rank
The University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is seeking applicants for In-Residence and Adjunct faculty positions within the Division of Clinical Sciences, at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The selected candidates will receive an academic appointment in a department within the School of Medicine based on their research focus. Applicants with experience in medical education and clinical research are encouraged to apply. We seek educators to participate in teaching students and residents, with experience in advising students who are pursuing education and research in health professions. These positions offer excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing a career in academic medicine with time dedicated to teaching and research. Experience and interest in curricular development and clinical skills assessment are preferred. The successful candidates will teach at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.
Candidates must hold an M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree and demonstrate a strong record of scholarly activities in clinical research and medical education. Additionally, successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to the education of medical students and residents and to participate in research, scholarly activities, and both University and public service, as appropriate for their academic appointment. The rank for these positions will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Candidates for the Adjunct Professor Series may hold an academic position at another institution.

The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 for the salary range. The Base Salary range for this position is $127,000 - $333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://somacademicaffairs.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm2346/files/2021-02/2021-02-11HSCP%20Plan.pdf), which provides eligibility for additional compensation.
