Position description
The School of Business, home of the A Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Accounting to begin July 1, 2025.
We seek candidates with superior research training who have achieved or have the potential to achieve outstanding accomplishments and scholarly distinction in their area of research.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field and demonstrate a strong record of, and continuing potential for, quality research and teaching. Candidates are expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who contribute to the diversity to our campus community.

The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/2024-25/oct-2024-scales/t3.pdf) set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. “Off-scale salaries” and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions. A reasonable estimated nine-month salary range for the assistant professor position is $175,000 - $240,000, inclusive of the salary scale and off-scale salary components.
