LITERATURE AND CULTURE OF LATIN AMERICA
University of California, Riverside

The Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of California, Riverside seeks to hire a distinguished scholar at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, specializing in the literature and culture of Latin America, sub-field open, period open (though 18th-21st century is preferred). Strong research and teaching interest in media studies, critical theory/political philosophy, LGBTQ studies, visual arts, and innovative combinations of these fields are particularly welcome. A Ph.D. in a related field and demonstrated excellence in research and teaching are required. The position is expected to begin July 1, 2019. Salary will be commensurate to education and experience, and the position will remain open until filled.
