The Department of Psychology, University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in developmental psychology beginning July 1, 2019. We seek applicants who can contribute to promoting diversity in developmental science; in particular those who aim to understand ethnic and cultural variations in human development, the psychosocial experience of vulnerable and culturally diverse populations, immigrant families, and families affected by poverty or other adverse circumstances. Applicants with research experience in development either at specific age periods or across the lifespan are welcome. Candidates who use or develop innovative methods to understand development across the life course and in diverse contexts are strongly encouraged to apply.
