Position description

The Department of Art at the University of California, Riverside, expects to have various temporary part-time openings for lecturers during the 2018-2019 academic year, pending final budgetary approval. The salary for each course is approximately $5,932 per course.

The courses listed below may vary in number and quarter of offering. M.F.A. or equivalent degree, and one year of teaching experience or equivalent at the college or university level are required. Equivalent experience refers to teaching experience as a TA or career experience commensurate with the course. Review of applications begins June 9, 2018, and continues until positions are filled.

Applications must include a cover letter of application (mention which course(s) you are interested in teaching), CV, one PDF of 10 images of applicant's work and a second PDF of 10 images of student work, three names of references, recent samples of teaching evaluations, and a diversity statement.
