The University of California, Riverside School of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency Program in Riverside, California is fully ACGME accredited three-year training program in Internal Medicine. We are currently looking to fill a PGY-2 position to start July 1, 2018. The mission of our program is to train and educate residents to be competent and compassionate practitioners in the core knowledge and skills of internal medicine.
Applications are being sought from degreed candidates eligible for licensure in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidates must have been accepted in an Internal Medicine Residency Program through the National Residency Matching Program and have satisfactorily completed 12 months of required experience in an ACGME accredited internal medicine residency training program. Applicants must submit their ERAS application, Current CV, two letters of recommendation (one letter must be from your current Program Director which verifies that you are a PGY1 in good standing, and are expected to satisfactorily complete training by June 30, 2018 and one additional letter from another faculty member within the current program). USMLE transcript for steps 1, 2, and 3, a list of completed rotations including dates, milestone evaluations, and a cover letter explaining reason for leaving current program in favor of this program are required in order for your application to be complete. Applicants must also show proof of current BLS and ACLS certifications, be ECFMG certified and have a current PTAL (if applicable).
