Position description

The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside is recruiting a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate and Full professor rank. This position is a full-time academic appointment in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series to practice at the UC Riverside School of Medicine’s affiliated hospitals with opportunities for teaching and dedicated time for pursuing research/academic interests.

Requirements – Applications are being sought from individuals who:
• Have an MD or DO degree.
• A California medical license at the time of employment.
• Is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Have successfully completed subspecialty training in gynecology oncology with subsequent specialty board certification or board eligibility.
• Have a background and skills in clinical practice, clinical teaching, managed care, leadership and utilization.
• Qualify for UC Riverside and affiliated hospitals medical staff privileges.

In addition to the above requirements, it is preferred candidates:
• Have experience/interest in research and creative activity.
• Have excellent communication skills

Rank and compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Applicants must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. Initial review of applications will begin on January 18, 2018.
