Position: Part time Lecturer in German

Starting Date: Fall Quarter instruction begins September 25, 2017; Spring Quarter ends June 15, 2018

Salary: $6675.26 per course (pending final budget approval) Appointment is eligible for renewal depending on need, funding and performance.

Minimum requirements are an MA in German or a related field; advanced knowledge of German as well as teaching experience in a University context. Priority will be given to candidates with experience and success in teaching all levels of German at an American university.


Duties will consist in the instruction of 1 course in fall 2017 (GER 001: Elementary German) and 1 course in spring 2018 (GER 002: Elementary German), pending enrollment and funding. Reappointment for future is possible; excellence in language teaching is required.
