Position: Family Medicine Residency Program – Full Time Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series (Open Ranks)

The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside anticipates openings for Health Sciences Clinical Professors at the assistant, associate and full professor level for clinical educators to participate in full-time ambulatory clinical practice, teaching residents, medical students, developing curricula, serve as a mentor and advisor to the residents in Family Medicine in an academic setting. Excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing other primary care/academic interests with time dedicated to teaching and scholarly activity. Applicant is required to have experience in providing care to all age groups; interest in practicing full spectrum of Family Medicine, Obstetrics is optional.

Preferred Qualifications include obstetrical experience, 3 or more years of experience in teaching medical students and residents, and community health experience. These positions are academic appointments in the non-senate health sciences clinical professor series to practice at the UC Riverside School of Medicine’s affiliated hospitals in the Riverside, Palm Springs and surrounding areas.

Requirements – Applications are being sought from MD, DO degreed candidates with an unrestricted California Medical License. Completion of an ACGME accredited family medicine residency and be board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Applicants should be interested in practicing full spectrum of Family Medicine. Clinical teaching is required. Evidence of research and creative activity are preferred. Positions are dependent upon funding. Applicant must qualify for UC Riverside and our affiliated hospitals medical staff privileges. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
