DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE, FILM AND DIGITAL PRODUCTION UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, RIVERSIDE

The Department of Theatre, Film and Digital Production at the University of California, Riverside invites applications from individuals with experience in acting and/or actors with recognized national or international reputations for an assistant professor position with a start date of July 1, 2017.

Duties will include mostly undergraduate courses, mentoring and supervision of production work and theses and/or capstone projects and service in the department of Theatre, Film and Digital Production and in the MFA in Creative Writing for the Performing Arts program.

Qualifications: MFA or PhD or equivalent experience, significant body of professional work in nationally or internationally recognized theatre, film and/or television and strong university level teaching experience required. Interest and experience in teaching any of the following is a plus: directing, acting for the camera, movement and voice. An interest in directing departmental productions is also sought. UCR is a world-class research university with an exceptionally diverse undergraduate student body. Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
