Position description

The Department of Theatre, Film & Digital Production at the University of California, Riverside is seeking a lecturer to teach TFDP 143 – Scene Painting in the 2016 Winter Quarter (January 4 – March 18). The lecturer will teach undergraduate students basic scenic painting techniques commonly used in theatrical, film and television productions.

Salary: $5,391.32 per course per quarter

Required Qualifications: MA, MFA, Ph.D. or equivalent experience (3 years professional experience in scene painting and university instructing experience). A record of professional and/or university experience in scene painting is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. and teaching experience at the university level is desired. UCR is a world-class research university with an exceptionally diverse undergraduate student body.
