Position: Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series – Open Ranks

The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside anticipates openings for health sciences clinical professors at the assistant, associate, and full professor level for clinical educators to participate in part-time and/or full-time Inpatient services in Pediatric in an academic setting. Applicant is required to have experience in providing care for inpatient pediatric patients, newborn exams, and ER consults. Experience and interest in chronic disease management and interdisciplinary teams are preferred. Excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing other primary care/academic interests with time dedicated to teaching and scholarly activities. These positions are academic appointments in the non-senate health sciences clinical professor series to practice at the UC Riverside School of Medicine’ affiliated hospitals in the Palm Springs and surrounding areas. We anticipate openings in the hospitalists program as well as positions to support all facets of the new residency program.

Requirements – Applications are being sought from degreed candidates eligible for licensure in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidates must have completed a ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency program and be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics. Clinical teaching is required. Positions are dependent upon funding. Applicant must qualify for UC Riverside and our affiliated hospitals medical staff privileges. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Initial appointments are for one year and renewal is based on availability of support.
