Position description

POSITIONS: The Department of Physics & Astronomy anticipates hiring temporary part-time Instructors for a variety of courses, to be taught throughout the 2014-15 Academic Year. Fall Quarter runs Sept. 29, 2014– December 19, 2014; Winter Quarter runs January 2, 2015 – March 20, 2015; and Spring Quarter runs March 25, 2015 - June 12, 2015. *All Positions are contingent upon funding.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Physics and/or Astronomy to be considered for a General Physics Lecture course. Candidates must have an M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics and/or Astronomy to be considered for a General Physics Laboratory course; Ph.D. is preferred. Teaching experience at the college level is desired for all positions.
