Position description

The UCR Economics Department invites applications for an open rank faculty position in development economics. Responsibilities include developing a strong research program and teaching/advising undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants should have an established record of outstanding research accomplishment; they will also be expected to guide the research of doctoral students, to be committed to a continuing, state-of-the-art research program, to provide leadership in the department, and to develop collaborative relationships with other units on campus, such as the new Schools of Medicine and of Public Policy. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with education and experience. The appointment will commence on July 1, 2014.
