Position description
The School of Business, home of the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Teaching in Information Systems. Individuals with these titles are members of the Academic Senate and are actively engaged with the faculty of the department, serving through teaching, professional activity, and service. Associate and Full Professor of Teaching have the equivalent of tenure. These appointments are similar to clinical professor appointments at other universities.
We seek candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching and interest in program administration and teaching-oriented academic research. We are interested in cutting-edge research/teaching in all areas of IS, but have a specific interest in research/teaching that can contribute to the DEI mission of the school. Examples of such topics are inclusion and ethics in AI, technology to improve workplace diversity, how to address algorithmic bias, etc.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Information Systems or in a relevant discipline. New Ph.D. candidates must have completed all Ph.D. requirements prior to appointment. Candidates are expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Screening of candidates will commence immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. For the first round of consideration, please submit your application by November 15th, 2022.
