Part-Time History Lecturer Position

Starting Date:
Spring quarter, 2022
(Spring quarter begins March 23, 2022 and ends June 10, 2022)

Salary:
Salary is approximately $6326.59 per course (pending final budget approval).

Recruitment Description:
The Department of History at the University of California, Riverside is seeking a lecturer to teach one upper division history course this Spring on campus. This is a temporary position. Candidates with an area of specialization in the history of the Americas or Asia are invited to apply.

Possible Courses in the Department in Americas or Asia : Modern China (HIST 182); Topics in Chinese History (HIST 188); The Early Republic: The United States, 1789-1848 (HISA 110C); Colonial Latin America (HISA 160); Colonial Mexico (HISA 163A); Environmental History of the Americas (HISA 167)

Duties:
Undergraduate teaching of one of the courses listed above.

Qualifications:
This position requires a Master's degree in History.
One year of teaching experience at the college level is a preferred qualification.
A PhD in History or a related field is a preferred qualification
