Position description

        University of California, Riverside

Professor of Teaching in Management – Tenure Track (Open Rank)

The School of Business, home of the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a Professor of Teaching faculty position in Management. Appointees to these positions are members of the Academic Senate and are expected to engage in teaching, professional and/or scholarly activity and achievement, as well as University and public service. An appointee in this series is assigned a heavier instructional load. Therefore, the requirements for research activity within this series are broadened to include more than scholarly or professional publications. Professional and scholarly contributions within this series would be expected to support excellence in teaching. Associate and Full Professors of teaching are awarded the equivalent of tenure.

We seek faculty members with demonstrated excellence in teaching, an interest in creative and productive contributions to professional and/or scholarly activity, and a continuing interest in service to the department and university.
A successful candidate must have the demonstrated potential or proven record of accomplishment and interest in teaching in Management. The candidate must have or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Strategic Management, Organizational Theory, Entrepreneurship or a closely related field. The candidate must also have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who contribute to the diversity to our campus community.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, statement of teaching and service, teaching evaluations, diversity statement, and provide 3-5 references, who will be contacted for their letters of recommendation. Applicant materials should be submitted to AP Recruit at the following link:
