Lecture Position in Art History – Fall 2021

The Department of the History of Art at the University of California, Riverside expects to have a temporary, part-time opening for a lecturer during the 2021-22 academic year. The position is contingent on the availability of funding and may require flexibility to convert to remote teaching as needed. The salary for each course is approximately $6,326. An M.A. and teaching experience at the college or university level are required. Review of applications will begin August 21, 2021, and continue until positions are filled.

Fall Quarter 2021 (September 20-December 10, 2021)
Art History 156, Memory of Empire: Art of Early Medieval Europe

Please note that in spite of the narrow scope suggested by the course title, we welcome course topics as far back in time as the ancients, and from a wide range of geographies, not just Europe.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

An M.A. and teaching experience at the college or university level are required.
