Clinical Educator

Positions: Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series – Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor Rank

The School of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside is recruiting faculty members for an academic appointment in the Division of Clinical Sciences. The successful applicants must qualify for an academic appointment in Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. The finalists will have a concurrent academic appointment in an appropriate department in the School of Medicine. We seek educators to participate in teaching residents and students, with an experience in advising students who are pursuing education in health professions. These positions offer excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing a career in academic medicine with time dedicated to teaching and scholarly activity. Applicants with experience in medical education at both UME and GME levels are encouraged to apply. Experience and interest in curricular development and clinical skills assessment are preferred. The successful candidates will teach at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.

The successful candidates must possess an M.D. or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Additional degrees related to education are desired (M.Ed., M.Med., etc). The successful candidates will be expected to show a strong commitment to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful candidates will also be expected to participate in scholarly activities, University and public service appropriate for the academic appointments in Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical series. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
