The Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Riverside is seeking to hire part-time lecturers to teach from the course(s) below. Starting Dates for each of the quarters are: Fall Quarter 2019 (09/24/19 - 12/15/19); Winter Quarter 2020 (01/02/20 - 03/27/20); Spring Quarter 2020 (04/01/20 - 06/15/20).

Salary: Based on rate of approximately $6,263.00 per course.

The Fall Quarter schedule is listed below. Winter and Spring Quarters 2020 schedules are TBD. The initial review of applications will begin on September 15, 2019.

Fall Quarter 2019-Phil 117: Environmental Ethics (Tues/Thurs 5:00-6:20 pm)

Winter Quarter 2020- Philosophy 7: Critical Thinking

Spring Quarter 2020- Philosophy 2: Contemporary Moral Problems
Philosophy 7: Critical Thinking

Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have an M.A. or higher, and one year of teaching experience at the collegiate level.

Duties: Undergraduate teaching of the courses listed above.
