Position description

The University of California, Riverside seeks a full-time Assistant Project Scientist with at least 5 years’ postdoctoral experience. The Assistant Project Scientist is needed to conduct molecular biology experiments to study RNA modifications in plants. Candidates will need to have experience with genomics technologies, particularly technologies to study RNA-protein interactions, RNA modifications, and translation, such as CLIP-seq, RiboMethySeq, and Ribo-seq. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in genetics and five years’ postdoctoral experience.
