Description

The University of California Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine seeks to hire a Senate Non-Tenured faculty member in the Clinical X series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Department of Psychiatry. We seek to hire a Psychiatrist or Psychologist who is devoted to academic excellence in research, teaching, and University and Professional service. Our goal is to recruit a clinical scientist committed to excellence in research that complements existing campus strength in psychiatric clinical research and education. To foster development of collaborative research in psychiatry, the successful candidate will participate in campus wide collaborative research across different units at UCR, including collaborating with colleagues in brain imaging, psychology, biomedical sciences, engineering and linguistics. Experience and interest in psychopharmacology, neuromodulation, neuropsychology and imaging are preferred.

The successful candidate must possess an MD, PhD/PsyD, or equivalent degree and be licensed to practice psychiatry or psychology in the state of California by the time of employment. MD applicant must be certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and meet the eligibility requirements for a medical license in the state of California. Candidate must qualify for an appointment to the Professor of Clinical X series. The successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to research, an excellent clinical record of expertise, and a strong commitment to the education of medical students and residents. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
