Position description

The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside is recruiting for health sciences clinical professors at the assistant, associate and full professor level for outpatient primary care position and as clinical educators to participate in part-time and/or full-time outpatient clinical practice in Internal Medicine within an academic setting. Experience and interest in chronic disease management and interdisciplinary teams preferred. Excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing other primary care/academic interests with time dedicated to teaching and scholarly activity. These positions are academic appointments in the non-senate health sciences clinical professor series to practice at the UC Riverside School of Medicine’s outpatient facilities in Riverside.

The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Current DEA License, BLS and ACLS certification are required by time of employment. Successful candidates will be also expected to show a strong commitment to education of medical students and residents, as well as participate in creative activities, University and public service. Applicant must qualify for UC Riverside and our affiliated hospitals medical staff privileges. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
