Position description

The University of California, Riverside School of Medicine has just received initial accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for a new Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship program to start on July 1, 2017. The program seeks to address the shortage of child psychiatrists in Inland Southern California and is to be based at the Riverside University Health System, Behavioral Health in Riverside County, California. The program will be developmentally focused and will provide a broad education across a number of innovative community based and hospital settings. We are seeking applicants immediately for two positions available to be filled outside the match.

Requirements: Applications are being sought from candidates who have completed 3 years of an accredited psychiatry residency. Completion of USMLE Steps 1, 2, 3 and a California Medical license are also required at the time of application. Please provide a letter from your current Program Director and two additional letters of reference. Research background and experience is preferred.
